The Black List

It’s official. The lawyers have spoken. The contracts are signed. The Black List, an original, 110-page graphic novel written by myself and Mark Kleman with art by Lamair Nash, has been purchased by Arcana Studios. Expect it to be released in late 2010 or 2011. More news to come as we get closer to the release date.

The cover, anyway, reminds me of my favorite late-90s Dark Horse comics: Grendel War Child, (the good) AVP. And Sin City. Is the art direction similar to the cover?
The art on the cover is very indicative of the interiors. Lamair Nash, a fantastic graphic designer from Barbados, supplied the cover and the interior artwork. If you liked those Dark Horse books, you’ll definitely be interested in The Black List.
